Why I started OTP Coach

After more than four decades running businesses, as a CEO, general manager, and transformation leader across aerospace, medical devices, and communications, I kept seeing the same pattern — smart and committed teams underperforming. Not because of effort or skill, but because trust had quietly broken down somewhere in the system.

I have also experienced too many consulting firms that create and deliver their content without real-world experience of actually managing a business, and who never live with the consequences of solutions that only work on paper.

I started OTP Coach because I believe leadership challenges require systematic solutions, and trust is the cornerstone of optimal team performance. I believe senior leaders want a trusted thinking partner who has actually run a P&L under pressure, not just studied leadership in theory. Someone who understands what it feels like to carry the burden of making a decision alone at 2 a.m., to hold a team together through a restructuring, or to influence a board that wants answers you don’t yet have.

Today I work with a small number of carefully selected senior leaders and leadership teams. The work requires depth, candor, and time.
